Authors Note:
I was recently asked in an interview for a newspaper, 'What qualifies you to write this book?'. The answer I have for this question is something that everyone should know.
I am not going to tell you about all the pieces of paper that I have collected over the years that in some way tell that I am qualified. I am not going to brag about what my I.Q. is, nor discuss the colleges and universities that have taken money in trade for a fancy paper that says I am qualified.
I am qualified to write this book because I am every person that has ever worked at a job that they hated, just to make ends meet. I am every person that has ever worked at a job they loved, only to see it outsourced to another country. I am every person that has worked at a job where corporate policy is more important than the individual person. I am every person that has ever felt trapped by policies and regulations that almost seem meant to prevent you from doing a good job. I am every person that ever felt helpless to change the way things are.
So, I am qualified to write this book because I have the right to have an opinion. I am qualified because people have a right to know the problem as well as the solution. I am qualified because a population without a voice cannot change anything. I am qualified because people are upset about the state of the Union and don't know what to do. I am qualified because I am an American Patriot.
